Lawyer

Álvaro Torrecillas, member of the Guadalajara Bar Association and subsequently of Madrid, began his professional career in local administrative law and contentious-administrative law, all of which contributed to creating a labor profile in the branch of public law in general, as well as in the real estate and urban law, having the opportunity to represent and assist individual clients and private companies against the most diverse activity of the public administration, while also being able to defend the interests of the latter by advising city councils and companies of the state public sector, regional and local.

All this has allowed him to specialize in the different types of procedures, both administrative and procedural, acting in all jurisdictional instances, including the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
His main legal areas of work have been: general public law, tax, contentious-administrative and contentious-tax procedures, public procurement law, real estate and urban law (planning, management and discipline), public function, administrative sanctioning law, liability contractual and non-contractual (patrimonial) of the public powers, medical negligence, tourist and authorizing law, public aid and subsidies and foundations and associations.

And among other specific areas or sectors of public law: environmental law, local administrative law, delinquency of the Administration, sectoral regulations (coasts, mountains, mines, aeronautical easements, etc.), public domain and public services, compulsory expropriation and easements, legal audits in the public sector and regulated sectors (energy, transport, infrastructure, health, food sector, etc.).

He has been part of the globalpacta team since 2020.
